Durban: Production Fermentation Supervisor

The candidate will be responsible for the operation of a fermentation plant and utilities, ensuring adherence to the fermentation plan, productivity and quality requirements. Required: Explicit understanding of plant unit operations. Good understanding of fermentation technology. The operation of the fermentation plant (Upstream, Downstream and Field Operators), including plant utilities. Execute plant procedures to meet productivity, efficiency, food safety & quality targets. Continuous monitoring of plant parameters, reviews of analytical results & taking corrective action. Maintain and promote a safety & environmental ethic in accordance with legislation by proactively identifying all HSE incidents.
