Job Summary

Hire Resolve`s client is seeking a skilled and experienced Production Shift Foreman to oversee the manufacturing operations of our sugar production plant in KZN. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the sugar industry and proven leadership skills to effectively manage a team of production workers.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets and deadlines
• Supervise and direct a team of production workers to ensure smooth operations and output quality
• Monitor and optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
• Implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions to prevent recurring problems
• Communicate with management and other departments to coordinate production schedules and resources
• Train and mentor production staff to develop their skills and improve performance
• Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review

Qualifications:

• Bachelor`s degree in Engineering, Food Science, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in the sugar industry
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team of production workers
• Knowledge of production processes, equipment, and quality control standards in the sugar industry
• Ability to analyze and problem solve production issues to ensure smooth operations
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to coordinate production schedules and resources
• Proven track record of meeting production targets and deadlines
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and weekends as needed
