Job overview:
Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our client`s team in Durban and oversee the successful execution of multi-disciplinary projects (buildings and townships). As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling all aspects of the project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the client`s satisfaction. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and team members to define project objectives, develop project plans, allocate resources, and monitor project progress.

Responsibilities:

  • Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and stakeholders
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Lead project teams and facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure project goals are met
  • Manage project risks and take proactive measures to mitigate risks
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders
  • Ensure project documentation is complete and accurate
  • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors as needed
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulations, and industry standards

Requirements:

  • 8 to 10 years of experience as a Project Manager, managing complex projects from initiation to completion
  • Bachelors degree in a related field: BEng, BTech etc
  • Regsitered as either PrTech, PrEng or PrCPM
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Experience working on building and township services would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in project management software
  • Valid driver`s license
