Job Summary

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATION and WORK EXPERIENCE: Matric Degree and or Diploma in in Sales and Marketing Ability to read drawings Experience in the construction industry Product Knowledge and Specifications beneficial Ability to establish the needs of professionals and communicate how our products will be beneficial Knowledge of Roofing, Sheeting Metal, ventilation and permanent shuttering products Manufacturing 5 years or more work experience in a similar role and working environment 5 years or more work experience in Sales and Promotions within the Construction Industry TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES: PowerPoint Presentation Advanced Excel Advanced level Microsoft Office Project Management Understanding Project related Sales Quality Assurance Excellent Analytical Skills Draughting experience will be ad advantage BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES: Excellent Written and Oral communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful Make effective decisions Ability to work under pressure Ability to establish the needs of the professional/ customer Strong People Skills Multitasking Problem solver Effective Communicator Organizational skills – Planning and Prioritizing RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and maintain business relationships critical to project sales Proactively identify projects and potential project sales Calling key stakeholders and specifiers in search of opportunities Manage Tender Applications and Tender processes Analyse markets and professionals activities to ensure directed focus and implement processes to align to the changes in market place Analyse and implement effective strategies to mitigate failure rate in Project Tenders Liaise with Specifications and Technical advisors on Obtaining Product Specifications and interventions required Identify specific interventions for the Team (inclusive of CEO/COO interventions) Effective Project Information flow with sales Manage and Maintain Project File (weekly, monthly report) Costing of Projects Train and guide Sales Manager/ Team on costing of projects Be responsible for promotional literature and inventory thereof Arranging formal presentations with professional practices Project Monitoring in conjunction with specifying techniques Assist with information on construction programs and specific project requirements Resolve Client Complaints or queries as quickly as possible Provide technical information and support to customers Provide targeted Professionals with updated material, technical information, brochures and samples Knowledgeable of Material Availability General Admin and own filing Manage subordinate/s Contribute to Culture Uphold the company’s code of ethics KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Correct Analysis of Market Trends and Changes Achievement of Prescribed Sales Targets Increase specified projects Increase and maintain Market Share Successful Project Management Achievement of customer service excellence Continuous Improvement – Yield Learning and Development – Self Learning and Development – Others Contributing to Culture
