Job Summary
Are you organized, detail-oriented, and able to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes? Our client is looking for a dedicated Storeman to join their team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring efficient stock control, and supporting day-to-day operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for keeping things in order, we want to hear from you!

Minimum requirements:
- Matric
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Reliable transport
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in a similar role
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Required skills:
- Inventory Management Ability to accurately track, organize, and maintain stock levels.

Organization Strong organizational skills to ensure that stock is well-arranged and easy to locate.

Attention to Detail Focus on accuracy when checking items in and out of stock and when handling inventory records.

Stock Control Knowledge of inventory systems and techniques to maintain accurate stock records and prevent overstocking or stockouts.

Communication Skills Effective verbal and written communication skills to liaise with team members and other departments.

Basic Computer Skills Familiarity with inventory management software, spreadsheets, and other digital tools for tracking stock.

Problem-Solving Ability to address inventory discrepancies and resolve stock-related issues quickly and efficiently.

Time Management Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently to meet deadlines and ensure smooth operations.

Teamwork Ability to work well with others in a team environment, ensuring that everyone is aligned in maintaining stock levels and fulfilling orders.

Safety Awareness Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment, including proper lifting techniques and handling of hazardous materials.

Order Fulfillment Experience with processing and preparing orders for shipment or distribution in a timely manner.

Adaptability Flexibility to handle changing priorities, fast-paced environments, and occasional high-demand periods.

Record Keeping Accurate documentation of stock movements, deliveries, and returns.
