About the Role
As a Receptionist at Bidvest Protea Coin in Durban, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our team. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the entrances at all times;
- Receiving of all visitors and deliveries;
- Management and maintenance of the reception area;
- Manage switchboard and answering of phones;
- Personnel management proficiency;
- Maintain good line of communication between staff and clients;
- Admin duties;
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification;
- Relevant experience as a Receptionist/Front office clerk;
- Sound communication skills (verbal and in writing);
- Bilingual (English and any other South African language);
- Good interpersonal and strong leadership skills;
- Excellent client liaison and administration skills;
- MS Office proficiency (excellent knowledge of Excel and Word);
- Must be punctual and presentable at all times;
- Clean disciplinary, criminal record;
