Job Summary

Regional Sales Manager – Cape Town Commercial & Supply Chain Department Reports to: National Sales Manager Role Overview We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced individual to join our Commercial & Supply Chain team as a Regional Sales Manager in Cape Town . Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager , this role is responsible for driving regional sales performance, leading a high-performing sales team, and strengthening customer relationships to deliver on volume, revenue, and growth targets. The incumbent will play a key role in executing national strategies at a regional level, optimizing route-to-customer (RtC) performance, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement, customer-centricity, and commercial excellence. Key Responsibilities Contribute to national commercial strategy and develop regional sales plans aligned with business goals Prepare and manage regional sales budgets and demand plans in response to market dynamics Lead, coach, and manage the performance of Sales Representatives and Team Leaders to deliver execution standards (VAPP, SSOs, PSGs) Build strong customer relationships and drive service excellence to improve satisfaction and retention Monitor sales KPIs, pricing adherence, mix, and profitability; implement actions to drive performance Conduct regular trade visits, sales coaching sessions, and customer engagement activities Manage and evaluate third-party providers (e.g., merchandisers) to ensure execution excellence Collaborate with the National Sales Manager to identify regional market penetration and growth opportunities Support key account management and negotiations as required Lead cross-functional collaboration with Logistics and Finance to ensure optimal customer service Champion continuous improvement, team capability development, and adherence to compliance standards (e.g., SHERQ, Competition Law, Anti-Bribery & Corruption) Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field 7–10 years’ experience in FMCG sales and marketing, with proven team leadership experience Strong business acumen and customer focus Excellent communication, leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills Valid driver’s license Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and ethical conduct Our Culture We value safety, quality, and collaboration.
