Job Description
Hire Resolves client in the beverage industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Sales Representative in Durban, KZN.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets to drive revenue growth.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers through regular in-person sales calls.
- Introduce and promote beverage innovation by conducting product tastings and demonstrations.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities to expand the brand’s presence and increase visibility.
- Implement effective merchandising and stock management strategies to ensure optimal product placement and availability in stores.
- Utilize digital sales tools proficiently for accurate tracking and reporting of sales activities and progress.
- Travel extensively across the region to manage and grow the territory.
- Conduct a minimum of 12 store visits daily to effectively manage accounts and achieve sales objectives.
- Focus on building relationships and generating sales with key accounts, including restaurants and potentially smaller, independently owned establishments.
- Leverage and expand upon an existing client base to further penetrate the market.
Requirements:
- Matric certificate.
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to work independently.
- Passion for beverages (knowledge of cocktails, coffee, specialty drinks a plus).
- Experience in sales and customer service.
- Experience in cold calling and maintaining store visit cycles.
- Ability to meet sales targets with 12+ daily store visits.
- 5+ years FMCG sales experience.
- Experience calling on restaurants/small shops preferred.
