POSITION : Services Supervisor LOCATION : KZN JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT : Manage, Supervise and execute the operational functions and activities of the Workshop. Ensure that all repairs and service to both internal and external customers are carried out according to policies and procedures. Engage with Regional Sales Teams and Customers to grow the business through the faultless execution of service activities. _______________________________________________________________________________ KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES): – Determine customer needs and effectively market service capabilities, including installation solutions – Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new customers – Forecast and report on annual, monthly and weekly opportunities utilising the company CRM system. – Interface with all sales consultants on sales and service opportunities to ensure sound relationship management – Set annual order intake targets through interaction with all sales consultants and customers on sales and service opportunities – Active participation in Site Walkdowns to determine gather exact information on installed base and capturing of information on internal system utilised for this purpose. – Interface with Sales Consultants to produce and maintain an accurate STO (Shutdowns/Turnarounds/Outages) funnel for all customers in the area – Determine own and all team members skills and training requirements and facilitate effective interventions. Ensure that Planned Job Observations are carried out annually. – Ensure that the quality system required for the repair process is implemented, adhered to and maintained – Supervise activities of all direct reports in the Workshop environment and ensure optimal utilisation of all resources. ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS: – Grade 12 – Trade test (Instrumentation) and/or National Diploma (Instrumentation) – Supervisory Certification (Advantageous) EXPERIENCE: – 3 5 years Process Plant maintenance experience – 2 Years applied Supervisory Experience – Specific knowledge through exposure to Valves in the industry and their applications – Valve Refurbishment Experience – Drivers Licence Required KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: – MS Office Suite – Demonstrate ability to drive results through direct reports – Effective Time Management and optimal staff utilisation – High level of interpersonal and communication skills – Prioritise tasks according to urgency – Analyse issues and solve problems – Inherent understanding of market trends affecting service-related opportunities BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES: – Self- Managed – Resilient – Sharing Functional Expertise guide and coach junior staff – Maintain focus and self-control – Inherent Service ethic – Self-directed learning approach
