About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing end-to-end payroll for assigned client accounts, ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process end-to-end payroll for assigned client accounts
  • Capture and verify manual and biometric timesheets
  • Ensure accurate payroll inputs, deductions, and employee rates
  • Review payroll data and pre-posting journals for accuracy
  • Generate and validate client invoices with supporting documentation
  • Maintain payroll records and compile reports
  • Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, SLAs, and payroll regulations

Requirements

  • 35 years of experience within the TES industry
  • DBit experience is advantageous
  • Experience managing large, multi-site payrolls
  • Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
  • Solid knowledge of BCEA and payroll compliance

Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team, responsible for accurate processing and administration of payroll functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture and process bi-weekly and monthly timesheets accurately
  • Calculate and capture payroll deductions (statutory and non-statutory)
  • Process payroll using VIP and SAGE payroll systems
  • Maintain and manage payroll filing systems (electronic and manual)
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of all payroll documentation
  • Administer and apply knowledge of: Annual leave Sick leave Maternity leave
  • Ensure compliance with PAYE and other statutory requirements
  • Process bonus payments and bonus-related entries
  • Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll information
  • Assist with audits and provide payroll reports when required

Requirements

Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role

Working knowledge of VIP and SAGE payroll systems

Strong understanding of South African payroll legislation and processes

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Strong organizational and administrative skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Good excel skill
