AESTHETIC & SKIN CARE THERAPIST
DURBANVILLE (CPT Northern Suburbs) – Western-Cape (ZA)
START: A.S.A.P / February 2025
TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:
- Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00 / 09:00 – 18:00 including lunch break
- Saturday – by appointment only
- Sunday CLOSED
REPORTS TO: Owner
EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Full time / Permanent
SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:
- Market related Basic based on qualification & relevant experience / skills

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / CIBTAC / City & Guilds / BABTAC or internationally recognized accreditation
- DIPLOMA Health & Skin Care / Beauty Therapy / Somatology / Cosmetology
- BONUS – Dermal Aesthetics (not minimum requirement but nice to have!)
- Beautifully groomed, manicured and looking the part of a Skin Care & Aesthetic professional
- Confident and knowledgeable on advanced skin care and ingredients
- Confident retailer – ability to prescribe home care confidently
EXPERIENCE:
- Cruise Ship OR international employment experience is favorable
- high-end salon or aesthetic therapy experience
- Experience working with active ingredients
- Aesthetic devices and advanced treatments preferred
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
- Confident performing a detailed skin analysis
- Confidently perform advance skin care treatments, peels and resurfacing treatments & Skin penetrating treatments including micro needling / nano needling / Derma Pen / Skin Pen / CIT
- Ability to effectively prescribe relevant home care to clients accordingly
- Retail confident
- Confidently re-book clients where applicable
- Strong team dynamic, but able to work on your own without supervision
- Assist Aesthetic Doctor where operationally required
- Aspire to advance your career in operations management
