AESTHETIC & SKIN CARE THERAPIST

DURBANVILLE (CPT Northern Suburbs) – Western-Cape (ZA)

START: A.S.A.P / February 2025

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

• Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00 / 09:00 – 18:00 including lunch break
• Saturday – by appointment only
• Sunday CLOSED

REPORTS TO: Owner

EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Full time / Permanent

SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:

• Market related Basic based on qualification & relevant experience / skills
• Service Commission
• Retail Commission

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / CIBTAC / City & Guilds / BABTAC or internationally recognized accreditation
2. DIPLOMA Health & Skin Care / Beauty Therapy / Somatology / Cosmetology
3. BONUS – Dermal Aesthetics (not minimum requirement but nice to have!)
4. Beautifully groomed, manicured and looking the part of a Skin Care & Aesthetic professional
5. Confident and knowledgeable on advanced skin care and ingredients
6. Confident retailer – ability to prescribe home care confidently

EXPERIENCE:

1. Cruise Ship OR international employment experience is favorable
2. high-end salon or aesthetic therapy experience
3. Experience working with active ingredients
4. Aesthetic devices and advanced treatments preferred

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

1. Confident performing a detailed skin analysis
2. Confidently perform advance skin care treatments, peels and resurfacing treatments & Skin penetrating treatments including micro needling / nano needling / Derma Pen / Skin Pen / CIT
3. Ability to effectively prescribe relevant home care to clients accordingly
4. Retail confident
5. Confidently re-book clients where applicable
6. Strong team dynamic, but able to work on your own without supervision
7. Assist Aesthetic Doctor where operationally required
8. Aspire to advance your career in operations management
