Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Supervision & Leadership: Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance to maintain a productive and motivated work environment.
- Space & Traffic Management: Optimize the cold store layout, oversee pallet movement, and ensure seamless coordination with the packhouse.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce stock movement protocols and uphold health and safety standards to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Handling Equipment Management: Oversee forklift operations, conduct equipment inspections, and ensure timely maintenance.
- Operational Efficiency: Streamline workflows, manage energy usage, and collaborate with logistics and procurement teams to enhance operational performance.
- Customer Service: Ensure accurate order fulfillment and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed records, temperature logs, compliance documentation, and operational reports.
Qualifications:
- Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain, Warehousing, or Operations Management.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role within a cold storage or warehouse environment.
- Experience in handling fresh produce and exporting, with a strong understanding of international quality standards.
