Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage material planning schedules to support production and assembly lines.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
- Analyze inventory levels and adjust orders based on demand forecasts and production requirements.
- Monitor and resolve any material shortages or delays that may impact production.
- Maintain close communication with internal teams and suppliers to address any material-related issues.
- Collaborate with the purchasing department to evaluate suppliers and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, industry regulations, and company procedures.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of inventory and material management processes.
Job
Requirements:
- Bachelor`s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2-4 years) as a Material Planner or in a similar role, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of material planning, inventory control, and supply chain management principles.
- Proficiency in material planning software (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
