Key Responsibilities
- Professionally respond to website, email, and telephone inquiries.
- Build rapport with guests and provide personalized service during the booking process.
- Accurately quote, book, and document reservations using Protel Property Management System.
- Handle guest complaints courteously, escalating to management when required.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date client database.
- Maximize revenue by upselling additional services and experiences.
- Communicate special instructions and guest requests to relevant departments.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of the private game reserve’s lodges, activities, and unique selling points.
What They Are Looking For
Qualifications: Degree or equivalent from a reputable hotel school
Experience:
- At least 3 years in a similar role at a 5-star luxury property
- Previous Front of House experience in a 5-star establishment
- Proficiency in Protel PMS and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Skills: - Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Strong telephone etiquette and tele-sales experience
- High degree of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-pressure environment
