This role offers significant long-term growth potential, with the successful candidate being closely involved in the planning and eventual management of a new camp set to open in 2026. It is therefore vital that the candidate has solid bush lodge experience, an adaptable mindset, and a genuine passion for the guest experience. Requirements · Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position within a high-end 5-star lodge environment · Tertiary qualification in Hospitality or related field advantageous · Proven ability to oversee both Front and Back of House operations with strong organizational and administrative skills · Experience in bush-based lodge operations with an understanding of remote working environments · Exceptional guest relations skills with a warm, confident, and professional demeanour · Highly presentable with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities · Calm and composed under pressure with a hands-on, proactive approach · Computer literate – knowledge of Easipos, Procure, and Protel advantageous · Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport · Stable employment history with contactable and reputable references · South African citizens only Remuneration & Benefits • Salary: On application | Dependent on Experience • Comfortable accommodation – one-bedroom house with kitchen and lounge • 6 days off per month (best suited to candidates with a home base within the region) Please Note: Although we appreciate all applications, only those candidates who meet the required experience and background will be contacted.
