Job Summary
Key
Responsibilities:
- Investigate and analyze reported faults in purchase parts and implement containment actions.
- Conduct rework audits to ensure compliance with standards.
- Perform regular product audits to prevent line disruptions.
- Analyze disruptions through various evaluation methods and report findings.
- Raise problem sheets with analysis for effective resolution with suppliers.
- Attend daily non-conforming parts meetings representing Quality Assurance Parts Production (QAPP).
- Assist in claims-related activities to ensure successful outcomes with Group Quality.
- Resolve disputes concerning non-conforming parts.
- Monitor supplier breakpoints and evaluate the effectiveness of parts.
- Visit local suppliers to enforce corrective measures for part processes.
Qualifications:
- National Diploma or B-Tech in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Operations Management, Quality).
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
Essential Skills:
- Knowledge of vehicle parts and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in quality improvement tools (e.g., DOE, SPC, FMEA, 8D reports, product audits).
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Understanding of quality standards and strong analytical/problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license required.
