Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Center Lathe Turner to join our workshop team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating center lathes to produce precision components according to technical drawings and specifications. Key Responsibilities: Operate center lathes to manufacture metal components accurately and efficiently. Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work orders. Select appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds for various materials. Conduct quality checks on machined components to ensure compliance with tolerances. Maintain and care for lathes and workshop equipment, ensuring safety and cleanliness. Collaborate with other workshop staff to meet production deadlines. Requirements: Proven experience as a Center Lathe Turner or similar role. Strong understanding of machining processes, materials, and tolerances. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and precision. Knowledge of workshop safety procedures.
