About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Housekeeping Manager for a 5* Lodge based in Mpumalanga. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a housekeeping leadership role within the hospitality or lodge industry, strong organizational and people management skills, excellent attention to detail and a commitment to exceptional guest service.
Key Responsibilities
- Running the lodge housekeeping department in its entirety (staffing, guest rooms, stock taking, ordering, stock rotation, supervising, quality control etc.)
- Assisting the Front of House department when needed (check ins/check outs, making activity bookings, attending to guest requests etc.)
- Ensuring the highest standards in the fine details, cleanliness, and service standards of the housekeeping department.

- Proven experience in a housekeeping leadership role within the hospitality or lodge industry
- Strong organizational and people management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to exceptional guest service
- Knowledge of housekeeping operations, safety standards, and inventory control

Salary & Benefits
Basic salary: R 9,432.05 (depending on experience) per month excluding the medical aid or provident fund contribution & gratuities (tips). Medical contribution: R 1 381.00 after 3 Months or contribution to provident fund after 3 Months. Uniform included. Free accommodation (single room with en-suite bathroom and single bed. Own linen, toiletries etc. must be supplied by the employee)
