About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Camp Manager to join a prestigious luxury private game reserve in Sabi Sands. This fixed-term contract offers the opportunity to oversee day-to-day operations of the camp, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and the smooth running of all departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily camp operations, ensuring high standards of guest service and operational efficiency
- Lead, motivate, and manage the camp team to achieve performance and service objectives
- Implement and maintain operational policies, procedures, and standards
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Manage budgets, monitor expenditure, and provide accurate financial reporting
- Coordinate with all departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Handle guest feedback and resolve operational challenges promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience in a managerial role within luxury safari or lodge operations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Financial and operational management experience
- Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a managerial role within luxury safari or lodge operations (desirable)
Salary & Benefits
- R25,000 CTC per month (Negotiable, dependent on experience)
