About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solar Saver Maintenance Manager to join our client’s team in Johannesburg. Our client, a leading renewable energy company, is dedicated to providing solar energy solutions to residential and commercial customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the solar savers maintenance team.
- Ensure the timely and efficient maintenance and repair of solar energy systems.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Coordinate with customers to schedule maintenance visits and resolve any issues.
- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with the sales team to assess system performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and update customer information as necessary.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in solar energy technology.
Requirements
- Prior experience in solar energy maintenance is required.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in maintenance management, preferably within the renewable sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of solar energy systems and components.
- Proven experience in managing maintenance teams and operations.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to customer locations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (preferred), fleet management.
