As a Driver in the engineering industry, you will be responsible for safely transporting materials, equipment, and personnel to and from various work sites. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of resources to support our engineering projects. Responsibilities: Safely operate company vehicles, including trucks and vans, to transport materials, tools, and equipment to project sites Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, ensuring the safety of yourself, passengers, and other road users Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical condition of assigned vehicles, conducting routine inspections and maintenance checks Assist with loading and unloading of materials and equipment at job sites, ensuring proper securement for transport Communicate effectively with project managers and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and priorities Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel, and maintenance activities for company vehicles Duties: Drive company vehicles to transport engineering materials, tools, and equipment to various project sites Inspect vehicles before and after trips, including checking tire pressure, fluid levels, and mechanical components Load and unload materials and equipment, ensuring proper handling and securement Communicate with team members to coordinate delivery schedules and priorities Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the vehicles Adhere to all company policies and safety guidelines while on the job Key Skills: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Proven experience as a Driver in the engineering or construction industry Familiarity with driving various types of vehicles, including trucks and vans Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting If you are a dependable Driver with experience in the engineering industry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to contribute to our engineering projects.
