About the Role
The Hydraulics Sales Consultant role is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional to join a long-standing hydraulic engineering provider in Boksburg. You will be responsible for growing new business across various markets, promoting hydraulic repairs and custom manufacturing solutions, and working closely with workshop teams to deliver technical delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow new business across mining, construction, industrial, and agricultural markets.
- Promote hydraulic repairs, custom manufacturing, machining work, and PEX service-exchange solutions.
- Visit customer sites to assess hydraulic needs and offer practical solutions.
- Prepare quotes, manage sales activities, and keep accurate records of your pipeline.
- Work with workshop teams to align client needs with technical delivery.
Requirements
- Proven sales experience in hydraulics, heavy machinery, earthmoving, industrial, or engineering sales.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves, repairs, and system maintenance.
- Valid drivers licence and ability to travel to client sites.
- Comfortable reading or explaining technical information linked to hydraulic components and engineered solutions.
- Skills in customer management, quoting, relationship building, and solution selling.
Qualifications
No formal education or certifications are required for this role. However, a strong foundation in sales and technical knowledge is essential.
