Job Summary
Requirements:
Educational & Career Experience: Senior Certificate (Matric) with mathematics Ability to read, understand, and create technical drawings. Experience with Fusion 360 is preferred Post-matric technical qualification (e.g., certificate or diploma) and/or a minimum of 3 years in a technical role Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience with any ERP system Excellent verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail 25 years of experience in a similar role Reliable transport and the ability to access worksites Medically fit for worksite access Attitudinal Skills: Highly motivated, reliable, and confident Strong ability to perform under pressure with high-stress tolerance Exceptional customer service and organizational skills Team-oriented with high emotional maturity Willing to travel and work overtime when necessary Ability to take on tasks outside the typical job description as needed Sober habits and lifestyle (regular testing required for customer site access) Roles &
Responsibilities:
Technical Sales Support: Compile reports, spreadsheets, and data for the customer base Assist the external sales team with sales and technical queries Draughting and Technical Support: Create and review technical drawings for manufacturing Generate costings and quotes for customers Select appropriate materials based on customer needs and applications Assist with the preparation and submission of tenders Ensure customer-supplied drawings contain all necessary details for manufacturing Evaluate and report on product performance and installations on customer sites General
Duties:
Handle other ad hoc tasks as assigned by management Represent the company at promotional events and social gatherings Attend offsite sales conferences, with potential travel required Start Date: ASAP / within 2 weeks Qualifications Required: Matric with mathematics (not maths literacy) Draughting qualification Sales experience Reporting To: External Sales Manager Commission: No commission structure is linked to this position Travel and Accommodation: Travel and accommodation costs for work-related trips will be covered
