As the Solar O&M Technician , you will be responsible for providing technical support, managing operations and maintenance (O&M) services, and ensuring efficient solar installations and customer satisfaction. Your key responsibilities will include: Technical Support and Product Management Monitor and review system performance data to identify areas for improvement. Prepare performance reports and recommend system upgrades or enhancements. Provide troubleshooting support for complex issues and escalate when necessary. Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials to ensure smooth technical processes. Conduct market research to identify opportunities for product improvements and collaborate with R&D for product enhancements. Manage the lifecycle of solar products, ensuring timely updates and rollouts. Customer Service Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and concerns. Proactively follow up with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction. Log, track, and resolve customer complaints or service issues, implementing corrective actions where necessary. Gather and analyze customer feedback, preparing satisfaction reports and identifying areas for improvement. O&M Scheduling & Implementation Develop and coordinate detailed schedules for regular maintenance tasks. Oversee the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure adherence to schedules. Ensure that necessary tools and equipment are available for maintenance tasks. Monitor progress and keep stakeholders updated on task completion. Maintenance Develop and manage maintenance project plans and timelines. Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure material availability for maintenance tasks. Prepare completion reports and ensure all maintenance documentation is up to date. Implement quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality maintenance outcomes. What We Are Looking For Qualifications : Minimum : Trade Tested. Advantageous : Wiremans Licence. Experience : Minimum : 3 years of experience in Solar Operations and Maintenance (O&M). Advantageous : 5 years of proven experience in Solar O&M or a related field. Technical Skills : Strong understanding of solar system performance monitoring and troubleshooting. Familiarity with standard operating procedures and technical processes. Experience with customer service and feedback collection in a technical field. Knowledge of scheduling, implementing, and overseeing maintenance tasks. Behavioral Skills : Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with customers and internal teams. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Proactive in identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. Strong organizational and time management skills. Additional Information Work Environment : The role may require occasional travel to customer sites and working with a variety of equipment.
