Job Summary:
Hire Resolve’s Client are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee all aspects of coal mining operations in Mpumalanga. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coal mining, proven leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and productivity.

Responsibilities:
– Lead and supervise mining operations, ensuring all activities are carried out efficiently and safely
– Plan and coordinate production schedules, ensuring targets are met within budget
– Manage and mentor a team of miners, ensuring they are well-trained and motivated
– Monitor and report on production metrics, identifying areas for improvement
– Implement and enforce safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe work environment
– Maintain equipment and infrastructure, coordinating maintenance and repairs as needed
– Communicate effectively with management, vendors, and regulatory agencies

Requirements:
– Opencast Blasting Certificate for Fiery Mines
– 2 Valid Opencast Coal Mine Machine Licenses
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in coal mining, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
– Knowledge of mining regulations and safety procedures
– Strong leadership and communication skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
– Willingness to work long hours and weekends as needed
– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
