Job Summary
Purpose of the position: To assist KBC to deliver safe, comprehensive and quality nursing care according to the Scope of PracticeMinimum
Requirements:
Matric, coupled with a Diploma/Degree in General NursingMust have at least 3-5 years experience as a Professional NurseRegistered with Nursing CouncilSite Management experience or equivalent experience in clinical research, with sound understanding of clinical trials methodology and terminologyComputer literacy and SAP experienceDuties &
Responsibilities:
Identify, prevent and manage risks to ensure patient safetyEnsure the conduct of the trial complies with the currently approved protocol/amendment(s), with Good Clinical Practice, and with the applicable regulatory requirement(s).Assessing compliance with regulations and the sites capability to comply with the study needs and expectationsEvaluate the quality and integrity of the reported data,Daily, Weekly, Monthly Reporting etc.Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policiesSkills Required: Must be able to work unsupervised & independentlyWell-spoken with excellent communication skillsOrganisational and planning skillsAbility to multi-task under pressureNursing record keepingPatient assessment skillsRelevant nursing legislationRisk identificationScientific nursing principles and process.
