About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Factory Administrator to join our production team at eThekwini, based in Mobeni, Durban. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth administrative flow of our manufacturing departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Production & Payroll Administration
- Jarrison Systems Management: Print, submit, and file Jarrison reports for Comforter (Dayshift), Pinsonic, and Carding departments.
- Payroll Support: Process and submit machinist scores for payment across Dayshift and Nightshift teams.
- Leave & Disciplinary Records: Manage the filing and submission of leave forms and formal warnings for various production units.
- Workflow & Data Management
- PPO Management: Close out Production Process Orders (PPOs) for Comforters, Inners, Quilted Protectors, and Pillow pockets.
- Sync System Updates: Change production states on Sync, capture units, and match/attach CMT PPOs to closed comforter orders.
- Reporting: Maintain and run cost spreadsheets for machine breakdowns across all departments (Quilting, Ramba, Embellished, etc.) based on mechanic feedback.
- Filler Slips: Follow up on, submit, and track carding filler slips weekly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a factory or manufacturing administrative role.
- Proficiency in Jarrison and Sync systems is highly advantageous.
- Strong competency in Microsoft Excel for cost tracking and spreadsheet management.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple departmental deadlines.
