is assisting a new Farm-To-Table Restaurant in Cape Town to recruit an experienced, service-driven and composed This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the guest experience at the front of house for a new unique dining concept in the Cape Town dining landscape. Reporting to the Director, the Restaurant Manager will be the calm authority at the heart of the front-of-house operation. The role encompasses leading and developing the service team to deliver refined, attentive and intuitive dining experiences; managing reservations, table flow, pacing and atmosphere to ensure every service period runs seamlessly; collaborating closely with the Head Chef to keep kitchen and floor in perfect harmony; addressing guest feedback with professionalism and warmth; and building genuine relationships with returning guests. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires both operational precision and an instinctive feel for hospitality. · Solid front-of-house management experience within a quality restaurant, fine dining or premium casual dining environment — a minimum of 3 years in a management or supervisory role. · A natural and intuitive service instinct — someone who anticipates guest needs before they are expressed and who takes genuine pride in delivering a memorable dining experience. · Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a service team during busy and demanding service periods, with a calm and confident presence on the floor. · Strong organisational skills, including experience managing reservations systems, staffing schedules and daily operational requirements. · A genuine passion for food, ingredients and the story behind what is on the plate — an interest in or knowledge of farm-to-table cuisine will be a distinct advantage. · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build authentic relationships with both guests and the kitchen team. · A composed and professional demeanour under pressure, with the emotional intelligence to read a room and respond accordingly. · Contactable references essential. – On application | Market Related – June 2026 ➡️ – Although we appreciate all applications received, we will only reply to those candidates who have the background and experience required.
