About the Role
The Material Controller / Storeman role at Dante Group Ltd is a critical position responsible for overseeing the inventory management and material control processes within our manufacturing environment. We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team, utilizing their expertise in inventory control methods and procedures to optimize our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels across various materials, including sheet metals, tubing, consumables, hardware, and small tools.
- Implement and enforce material control procedures to ensure efficient production planning and execution.
- Collaborate with the production team to resolve material-related issues and improve overall production efficiency.
- Utilize ERP systems (SAP Business One preferred) to track inventory levels, manage orders, and optimize production planning.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate material procurement and inventory management.
Requirements
- Matric Qualification in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Inventory Control
- 3 Years experience in inventory management, materials planning, or production control within a manufacturing or engineering environment
