A leading industrial automation solutions provider is seeking a highly driven VSD and PLC Sales Representative to join their team in New Germany, KZN. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded sales professional with a strong understanding of variable speed drives, PLC systems, and automation components. The ideal candidate will excel in building client relationships, identifying business opportunities, and providing technical support to customers. Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients within the industrial and manufacturing sectors. Promote and sell VSDs, PLCs, and related automation products and solutions. Conduct site visits to assess customer needs and provide technical guidance on suitable products. Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and product demonstrations. Work closely with internal technical teams to ensure accurate product specifications and customer satisfaction. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Achieve monthly and annual sales targets. Maintain detailed records of sales activities and client interactions. Requirements Matric or equivalent qualification. A technical diploma/qualification in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field is advantageous. Proven sales experience in VSDs, PLCs, or industrial automation products. Strong technical understanding of automation systems, control panels, drives, and instrumentation. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation. Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel to client sites.
