About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Representative to drive sales growth in the construction sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong business development and relationship management skills, with a proven track record of identifying opportunities and building a sustainable sales pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and visit active and upcoming construction sites to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, project managers, and other industry stakeholders.
  • Generate new sales leads and convert opportunities into business.
  • Conduct site visits to gather project information and assess customer requirements.
  • Prepare, submit, and follow up on quotations and proposals.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets in line with company objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of client visits, enquiries, quotations, sales activities, and project updates.
  • Prepare and submit weekly sales reports, pipeline updates, and activity reports.
  • Attend client meetings, networking events, exhibitions, and industry functions as required.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects to identify new business opportunities.

Requirements

Proven experience in sales, preferably within the construction, building materials, industrial, or related sectors. Strong business development and relationship management skills. Ability to identify opportunities and build a sustainable sales pipeline. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently. Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively for site visits and client meetings.
