About the Role
We are seeking an organised and hands-on Assistant Housekeeping Manager to support our luxury wine estate in Franschhoek. The ideal candidate will have a flair for detail, a steady leadership approach, and a genuine passion for creating spotless, welcoming spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the daily management and coordination of the housekeeping team
- Ensuring all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet top-quality standards
- Training, guiding, and motivating staff to deliver consistent excellence
- Managing stock levels, inventories, and housekeeping procedures
- Working closely with the Housekeeping Manager to streamline operations and maintain smooth workflow
Requirements
- A relevant hospitality or housekeeping qualification (beneficial)
- Previous supervisory or assistant management experience in a luxury environment
- Excellent organisational skills and a strong eye for detail
- Confident communication and people management skills
- A proactive, guest-focused mindset with high levels of professionalism
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (if applicable)
Salary & Benefits
R16 000 to R18 000 per month depending on experience
