Job Summary

<p>Kendrick Recruitment is looking for a detail-oriented & analytical Cost Accountant to join a dynamic business based in the Winelands. If you have a strong background in cost & management accounting and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you!</p><p>? Minimum Requirements:</p><p>? 23 years experience in cost & management accounting (analysis & reporting)</p><p>? BCom degree or equivalent (progress towards CIMA qualification advantageous)</p><p>? Proficient in Microsoft Excel & ERP systems (BOM & business intelligence software beneficial)</p><p>? FMCG or production environment experience preferred</p><p>? Strong communication & collaboration skills across teams & departments</p><p> Excellent time management with the ability to handle multiple tasks</p><p> Meticulous work ethic with a high level of accuracy</p><p>? Fluent in Afrikaans & English</p><p>? Key Responsibilities:</p><p>? Manage product costing & inventory reporting analyse variances & actual costs vs estimates</p><p>? Prepare cost estimates & quotes for new products, customers & product changes</p><p>? Update BOMs as required</p><p>? Assist with stock counts & inventory management</p><p>? Load cost estimates/quotes into relevant systems</p><p>? Assist with reconciliations & schedules</p><p>? Maintain accurate product costing records (old & new products)</p><p>? Provide audit support & continuous reporting</p><p>?
