Duty Manager / Host Luxury Guest Farm | Franschhoek Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a professional and dedicated Duty Manager / Host to join a luxury guest farm in Franschhoek. This is an exciting live-out opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to play a pivotal role in delivering seamless and memorable guest experiences, ensuring all aspects of the property operate to the highest standards. Requirements: Previous experience in a managerial or host role within a luxury hospitality environment Strong guest relations, communication, and interpersonal skills Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities Professional appearance, presence, and a guest-focused attitude Ability to work independently, take initiative, and lead by example Flexibility to manage shifts, weekends, and public holidays Reliable transport Responsibilities Guest Experience & Hosting: Welcome and orientate guests on arrival, ensuring a warm and professional reception Guide the flow of check-ins and check-outs efficiently and attentively Ensure alignment across departments for guest arrivals and key rituals Conduct final room checks in collaboration with the Housekeeping Manager Update bookings, guest records, and manage extensions or changes of stay Schedule and adjust guest experiences, activities, and transfers as required Liaise with external practitioners and suppliers where necessary Oversee readiness and presentation of public guest spaces Process and record guest purchases from the Farm Shop and Atelier accurately Maintain and manage guest golf carts Responsibilities House & Daily Flow Oversight: Serve as the connection point between guests and internal teams Guide the daily rhythm of the property in collaboration with department leads Identify and report maintenance issues and ensure resolution Maintain awareness of house environment, guest presence, and flow Support activity set-ups and shared spaces with attention to detail Maintain alignment with property standards and service ethos in all guest touchpoints Responsibilities Stock & Ordering Oversight: Conduct monthly stock takes of the Farm Shop and operating equipment Perform weekly checks to identify replenishment needs Maintain and update digital inventory records Place and manage orders for guest amenities, Atelier supplies, and special requests Steward stock efficiently, balancing practicality, creativity, and minimal waste Package: Salary: R18,000 R25,000 per month (negotiable depending on experience) Live-out position To apply: Please send your updated CV, reference letters, and qualifications today Please note: Due to the high volume of applications, only candidates who meet the listed requirements will be contacted.
