Lodge Manager / Housekeeper – Luxury Lodge, Franschhoek Salary: R20,000 – R30,000 Negotiable DOE | Live-in Overview Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an exceptionally polished and experienced Lodge Manager / Housekeeper for a newly developed 5-bedroom luxury lodge in Franschhoek. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a mature, detail-focused hospitality professional with extensive 5-star experience. The lodge is set to open to guests in approximately three months. Package • Salary: R20,000 – R30,000 per month, depending on experience • Accommodation: Included on the estate • Start Date: ASAP Responsibilities • Oversee the full daily operations of the lodge and its housekeeping department • Select, train and supervise housekeeping staff to 5-star standards • Develop, implement and maintain detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) • Ensure immaculate presentation of all guest areas at all times • Deliver personalised guest service and manage guest relations professionally • Maintain strict discretion, confidentiality and high service ethics • Manage the lodge for both leisure guests and small, exclusive corporate retreats • Ensure the property consistently meets luxury hospitality standards Requirements • Extensive experience in luxury hospitality, preferably 5-star lodges or boutique properties • Ideally suited to a retired or senior individual with strong leadership capabilities • Proven experience training and managing housekeeping teams • Strong organisational and communication skills • High level of professionalism, integrity and attention to detail • Ability to oversee operations independently and uphold brand standards About the Lodge • Newly completed 5-bedroom ultra-luxury lodge • Located in Franschhoek • Designed for high-end leisure guests as well as small corporate functions
