<p><strong>Payroll Officer | Luxury Wine Estate | Franschhoek</strong><br></p><p><strong>Salary: R23,500 R26,500 (Negotiable DOE) | Live Out</strong><br></p><p></p><p>Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Officer for a luxury wine estate located in the beautiful Franschhoek region. This position is ideal for a candidate who has a strong understanding of payroll processes and labour legislation, with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.<br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br></p><ul><li><p>Manage the full payroll function for all staff, ensuring timely and accurate salary payments<br></p></li><li><p>Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant tax and labour regulations<br></p></li><li><p>Process employee benefits, deductions, and leave<br></p></li><li><p>Reconcile payroll reports and prepare monthly payroll journals<br></p></li><li><p>Liaise with HR and Finance departments regarding payroll-related matters<br></p></li><li><p>Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll information<br></p></li><li><p>Prepare annual reports, including IRP5s and other statutory documentation<br></p></li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong><br></p><ul><li><p>Proven experience in a payroll position, preferably within the hospitality or wine industry<br></p></li><li><p>Solid understanding of payroll systems and relevant South African legislation<br></p></li><li><p>Proficient in payroll software (e.g., Sage, Pastel, or similar) and MS Excel<br></p></li><li><p>High level of accuracy and attention to detail<br></p></li><li><p>Ability to meet deadlines and work independently<br></p></li><li><p>Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills<br></p></li><li><p>Own transport preferred due to the live-out nature of the role<br></p></li></ul><p>This is a superb opportunity to join a respected estate and contribute to the efficient running of its payroll function.
