About the Role
The Field Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all operational activities within FMCG retail and wholesale syndicated sales and merchandising services in the Free State region. This role aims to ensure consistent sales and merchandising standards, optimize client product availability and representation in retail and wholesale outlets, while driving operational excellence and supporting business growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational plans to achieve sales and merchandising targets
- Foster a culture of sales and merchandising excellence across all retail and wholesale partners
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
- Lead and manage large, distributed teams to drive efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with retail and wholesale partners to optimize product availability and representation
Requirements
- National certificate in business administration, Retail Operations Management, or equivalent qualification
- At least 2 years of experience in operations within the retail and wholesale sector
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience
- Proven track record of driving operational efficiency, sales, and merchandising excellence in fast-paced environments
