About the Role
Hire Resolve’s Client, a leading company in the Food Industry, is urgently seeking a dedicated Credit Controller to join their team in Johannesburg. As a Credit Controller in the Food Industry, you will play a crucial role in managing credit control processes and ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debts. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely collections
- Review and assess customer credit worthiness
- Resolve customer queries and disputes regarding invoices and payments
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address any credit-related issues
- Prepare and distribute reports on credit control activities
- Implement and maintain credit control policies and procedures
- Identify and escalate any high-risk accounts or potential credit risks
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and credit files
- Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with clients
Requirements
Proven experience as a Credit Controller in the Food Industry
Accounting 2-3 years
Accounts Receivable 3-4 years
Reconciliations 3-4 years
Strong knowledge of credit control processes, procedures, and regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
