About the Role
We are excited to invite applications for a Live-In Nanny & House Helper to join our warm and professional family in Upington, Northern Cape. We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and highly reliable individual who shares our passion for providing a happy, tidy, and organized home environment for our children.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full care for a 2-year-old (feeding, bathing, diaper changing, safe sleep routine).
- Prepare our 5-year-old for school: dressing, healthy lunchbox, ensure they have everything needed.
- Sterilize baby bottles, prepare formula/meals, feed on schedule.
- Initiate and supervise age-appropriate educational play (reading, drawing, puzzles).
- Assist with potty training (2-year-old) as needed.
- Manage children’s laundry and keep rooms/play areas clean and organized.
- Maintain a watchful eye on the children’s safety and well-being at all times.
- Perform daily household light duties
Requirements
- 3 years experience in childcare or similar role
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High school diploma or equivalent (no formal education required)
Salary & Benefits
R3,500.00 – R6,000.00 per month (negotiable based on experience)
