Job Description
Purpose of Position:
- Manage and administer key customer accounts.
- Develop trust-based relationships with a portfolio of key customers to ensure sustainability and satisfaction.
- Market company services and product offerings within the applicable customer base.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
- Expand relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned account portfolios.
- Acquire a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements.
- Expand relationships with existing customers by proposing solutions that align with their objectives.
- Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
- Generate new sales that develop into long-lasting relationships to meet or exceed revenue and profitability targets.
- Conduct regular meetings with customers and internal stakeholders to review account performance.
- Act as a link between sales and operations.
- Provide business, technical, and product knowledge in support of customer solutions.
- Manage customer relationships proactively.
- Monitor market and customer activity to identify opportunities and risks.
- Take ownership of all projects related to assigned accounts.
- Serve as the communication link between key customers and internal teams.
- Resolve issues and handle customer complaints to maintain trust.
- Prepare regular progress reports and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders using account metrics.
- Willingness to travel up to 40%
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience in private sector utility management or facility management.
- Relevant business qualification.
- Proven customer account management experience.
- Operational management experience.
- Project management skills and/or experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
