About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Payable Administrator to join our team in Gauteng. As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all creditors/suppliers are paid punctually and on time. Key Responsibilities

Process accounts payable into Sage 300 to ensure timely payment of creditors/suppliers
Electronic banking for processing of payments
Reconciliation of bank accounts and debtor/creditor accounts
Monitor daily funding requirements for current/admin accounts
Monitor credit card balances for top-up
Liaise with property managers/personnel to assist with financial day-to-day running of properties and funding of property expenses (petty cash, bank accounts, cards)
Prepare foreign payments
Ensure complete and accurate VAT recording on every transaction and that supporting documents are valid to support VAT reclaim
Ensure complete and accurate filing of AP support, credit card, petty cash, expenses, payments and banking documentation, including scanning and electronic storage
Provide supporting documents quickly and efficiently in response to AP queries from internal and external parties (for example, invoices requested by auditors)
Assist in data transferring to new accounting system
Ad hoc accounting-related tasks

Requirements

Matric
Minimum 4 years experience in an Accounts Payable/Creditors role
Experience with foreign payments is essential
Immediately available and able to work on a 6-month contract
