About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Payable Administrator to join our team in Gauteng. As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all creditors/suppliers are paid punctually and on time. Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable into Sage 300 to ensure timely payment of creditors/suppliers
- Electronic banking for processing of payments
- Reconciliation of bank accounts and debtor/creditor accounts
- Monitor daily funding requirements for current/admin accounts
- Monitor credit card balances for top-up
- Liaise with property managers/personnel to assist with financial day-to-day running of properties and funding of property expenses (petty cash, bank accounts, cards)
- Prepare foreign payments
- Ensure complete and accurate VAT recording on every transaction and that supporting documents are valid to support VAT reclaim
- Ensure complete and accurate filing of AP support, credit card, petty cash, expenses, payments and banking documentation, including scanning and electronic storage
- Provide supporting documents quickly and efficiently in response to AP queries from internal and external parties (for example, invoices requested by auditors)
- Assist in data transferring to new accounting system
- Ad hoc accounting-related tasks
Requirements
- Matric
- Minimum 4 years experience in an Accounts Payable/Creditors role
- Experience with foreign payments is essential
- Immediately available and able to work on a 6-month contract
