About the Role
Motus Corporation is seeking an experienced Administrator: Debtors & Creditors to join our team at Motus Toyota Kempton Park. The purpose of this role is to ensure that all debtors and creditors functions are captured accurately and processed in a timely manner, allowing for effective supplier and customer management.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate reconciliations of creditors and debtors accounts
- Process incoming purchase order requests
- Print proof of payments and match open items in order system
- Reconcile accounts with creditors statements for payment timeously
- Maintain a current age analysis
- Ensure orders are kept up to date and validation of sign off on orders prior to payments
- Manage electronic and manual supplier filing system accurately and up to date
- Liaise with branch managers for authorisation as required
- Handle Intercompany Creditor accounts daily
- Process settlement discounts timeously
- Reconcile Parts and Workshop Cash accounts daily
- Reconcile Vehicle debtor accounts daily
- Follow-up on outstanding cash and vehicle debtors with the respective department
- Send monthly statements timeously
- Prepare monthly schedules for staff deductions
- Follow-up on bank statements for unpaid cheques, credit card reversals and fleet management re-debits
Requirements
- A minimum of Grade 12
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Computer literacy is essential
- Clear Criminal and Credit Record
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Customer and team orientation with high levels of accuracy and attention to details
Qualifications
- Completed Grade 12 Certificate
- Relevant experience in administration or a related field
