Job Summary
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- 1-year certificate in Law, Secretarial, Business Administration, Public Administration, or Office Administration
- 3 years’ secretarial or office administration experience in a relevant environment
- 3 years’ administrative experience in a Clerk of the Court or Court Registrar’s office is preferred
Key Performance Areas
- Provide administrative support to the Appeal Unit
- Manage and maintain the section’s schedule/diary and committee meeting schedule
- Proofread and analyze submissions, reports, letters, memos, and budget reports for accuracy and completeness
- Screen incoming queries and provide timely responses
- Prioritize and manage work schedule to meet deadlines
- Plan and coordinate divisional events within available budget
- Make travel and accommodation arrangements for the division
- Coordinate meetings, collate documents, and secure venues
- Draft high-quality reports, submissions, and presentations
- Prepare agendas and take minutes for committee meetings
- Communicate updates and information to internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain organized and accessible filing systems
- Ensure correspondence is acknowledged and responded to within 24 hours
- Perform ad-hoc requests from the Deputy Company Secretary: Professional Conduct
