Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Weave baskets and chairs using various techniques and materials, including natural fibers like rattan and wicker.
- Follow design specifications and innovate upon traditional weaving methods to produce unique, functional pieces.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet our high-quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain weaving materials and tools.
- Collaborate with the design and production team to meet project deadlines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a basket and/or chair weaver.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating craftsmanship and creativity.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
