Job Summary
My client is one of the big players in the automotive industry. Providing a range of vehicle-related financial services and products (service and maintenance plans, warranties, parts protection, and insurance products).
About the Role:
Analyse business requirements, advise on and develop optimised BI solutions and visualise results utilising technologies from the MS BI stack. The focus will also be on Robotic Process Automation and Integrating ML & Generative AI concepts to improve efficiencies in both Operational and Financial Processes.
It involves:
Guiding Business and Technical Users through the Full SDLC (Define issue statement, business and technical analysis, solution design, development, testing, implementation, end to end documentation, user support) and lead customer interaction sessions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver accurate, optimised and time efficient BI solutions aimed at improving business success through the usage of AI & ML technologies.
Guide Business and Technical Users through the Full SDLC (Define issue statement, business and technical analysis, solution design, development, testing, implementation, end to end documentation, user support) and lead customer interaction sessions.
Use data & data flows to identify areas of business support process improvement.
Develop technical standards for the BI Department and guide other BI Developers in Implementation and execution of BI Strategies.
Code Reviews, Code Re-Factoring
Work independently and ensure timely releases of projects
Carry out quality assessment of data, data reports and the accompanying decisions
offer action-driven recommendations and insights to executive leaders and managers on the basis of results
Requirements:
+7 Years Experience in Business Intelligence (Analytics, Development, Engineering) and a solid background in AI Concepts, Robotics Process Automation and Machine Learning Models.
MS SQL (Advanced), SSRS, SSAS
MS Power Tools (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents)
Generative AI Concepts & Usage
Usage & Implementation of ML Models.
Scripting Experience: R, Dax, Python.
Web Development: C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
Educational Requirements
Matric + A BSc Degree (Maths / Statistics)
MS BI or Data Analytics Certification
