Compare analyses against service standards and best practices, and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact the unit Identify and maximise opportunities to use information and technology to improve product, service and business processes Identify Business Improvement and Optimisation opportunities within the assigned part of the value stream that will result in improvement of process performance and ultimately in MTN SA results Assist with benchmarking activities with other companies and organizations within and outside the industry Perform Business Analysis on the projects within the assigned part of the value stream in line with the MTN SA Business Analysis methodology Assist in identifying innovative ways to use minimum resources to achieve maximum outputs Problem Solving / Solution Design Design and document business solutions (process, system and measurements) that meet current and future requirements Review and re-engineer processes within the assigned part of the value stream in order to meet the required service levels – aligned with pre-determined guidelines and methodologies. Find innovative ways to improve existing business processes to make them more efficient or more effective. Employ Design thinking principles to define and analyse business problem Define and construct context diagrams which form part of the basis of process mapping Assist in drafting policies, processes and procedures Evaluate situations and determine the best methods to reach defined outcomes Address problems on a case-by-case basis, ensuring an optimal balance between the response to the situation, the cost of that response, and the core purpose of the organisation Follow clear and linear procedures to diagnose and solve problems that are not always obvious Provide information and knowledge as required to resolve problems Generate different options for the known problem, evaluate possible methods to resolve the problem, and select the most appropriate solution
