Job Description
Required:
- Sales/Marketing Diploma (equivalent to an NQF level 5 is preferable)
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in the travel industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing skills
- Must demonstrate strong critical thinking capabilities and problem-solving skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail are imperative.
Knowledge Required (non-negotiable):
- Knowledge of systems (OBT), applications (Zoho Expense) and technologies (Concur) used in the travel industry
- Must be highly proficient in Office 365 products especially Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, MS Project, Visio and PowerPoint but not limited to these MS packages
- Knowledge of business analysis
- Experience in Operational reporting inclusive of the company’s pricing & budgeting
- Proficient in CRM tools, Expense management tools and contemporary OBT solutions
- Travel industry competitive processes and client nuances
- Knowledge and experience in deploying the company global products, solutions and processes
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects ensuring progress simultaneously especially in meeting RFP deadlines
- Highly performance driven in a competitive sales and commercial environment
- A customer-focused approach with effective liaison/interaction skills at an executive level
- Effective presentation skills (including formal presentation skills) along with excellent questioning techniques and listening skills
