Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Full preparation, processing, and reconciliation of broker commission payments
  • Issuing commission statements and remittance advice within fixed timeframes
  • Accurate setup and maintenance of brokers on Pastel Evolution
  • Preparation of CSV payment files for bank uploads
  • Firstline ownership of broker queries with sameday or nextday turnaround
  • Active followup of commission clawbacks and outstanding debit balances
  • Reconciliation and management of binder and outsource fees
  • Daily reconciliation of premium deposits and investment processing
  • Identifying inefficiencies and contributing practical improvements to finance processes

Requirements:

  • Matric or relevant finance qualifications 
  • Minimum 3 years’ finance experience in an insurance commissions transactional environment
  • Strong to advanced Excel capability
  • Proven attention to detail and reconciliation discipline
  • Ability to work independently and take full accountability
