Job Description
- Identify and support implementation of process and system enhancements to continuously improve commercial management process
- Facilitate commercial process to ensure adherence to ethical principles
- Identify, evaluate and support business partners to develop disciplined sourcing execution capabilities
- Work with various stakeholders to expand supply chain content
- Negotiate and monitor savings
- Administer tender process including adjudication of tenders
- Agree adjudication matrix with project teams and negotiate regarding suppliers’ contract terms and conditions
- Compile, evaluate, manage and maintain all contract related affairs regarding stipulations, recommendations and adherence to contractual rights and obligations
- Establish, manage, maintain, approve or seek approval of contracts
- Contribute to supplier development including Local Economic Development
- Resolve contract disputes
- Support on-boarding of new suppliers and manage supplier relationships
- Provide relevant and specialized support to applicable stakeholders
- Collaborate and communicate with suppliers
- Build sound relationships with Business Unit (BU) end-users, key suppliers and Supply Chain (SC) Management
- Work with contractors, consultants, Project Managers and BU end-users by providing contract specialist skills
Qualifications and Requirements
- B Degree
- 3-5 years relevant experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Contract Management or related experience.
- Understanding of Enterprise Resources Planning and Cloud based procurement solutions (e.g. SAP MM, Coupa).
- Strong understanding of Information Management (IM)
- Certificate First Line Management
