Job Summary
- At least 3 years’ experience in public entity oversight or monitoring or financial management or financial accounting.
- National Diploma or B. Degree (NQF6/7) in Accounting or Financial Accounting or Financial Management or Public Management or Administration with financial management or financial accounting as one of the major subjects.
- Public Finance Management Act,1999 (Act No.1 of 1999);
- Treasury Regulations issued in terms of the Public Finance Management Act,1999 (Act No.1 of 1999).
- Office of the Accountant-General Instruction Notes.
- Cash basis of accounting and transaction processing rules applicable to the Basic Accounting System (BAS).
- General Recognized Accounting Practice (GRAP) and knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Practice (GAAP).
